AC wiring for idle up

I've read through what I could find on the forum about wiring up using the 3.0 amp. I've connected the magnetic clutch wire and the AC works. From what I've read to get the Ecu to idle up you splice the AC1 from the ECU to the clutch wire? The ACT wire is not used. This is whats working for people?

well why do you need to worry about an idle up? I mean when I engage the a/c, my idle will drop for a sec, but then go back to its 750 idle. so I guess its working? but you are correct in what you are thinking. act is not used.

Its hard to tell if its working. The idle does drop when the ac is on but the engine still runs smooth. I don't think my tach is very accurate below 1k. I'll be getting an Ultra Gauge in the near future.
