Okay new to the site, looking for the hard cost on doing an engine swap on the 4runner. The head gasket blew for the first time and is being fixed by Toyota on their dime. I was one of the lucky ones for the sscvo6 recall.

I am looking to put the 3400 v6 motor in with an Auto. (I know don't beat me up for the auto, my wife will be driving it and likes the auto I put in the jeep when I built that one. I already have twin transfer case setup from marlin when I built me first 4runner. So it would be a donor truck, 3400v6 with auto and 4wd, or the 3400 out of a 4runner, would that work? I know there is a lot of info out there, just trying to save some time picking your brains.
