Finding used cat is tough because they are illegal to sell.

You'll have to find a forum member parting something out that doesn't know its illegal, or doesnt care. Keep that in mind cause the illegality drives up the price.

If you are buying knew, then none of this applies.

 

I am stuck with the trans/transfer plugs. I am using a auto harness in a manual truck and don't no which plugs to use on my trans/transfer. I removed the sensors for the auto so I could just plug the harness in but can't find which two plugs on the harness to use.Any advise would be great.I know that 1-is 4wd,1-is 4wd/L,1-is Transfer N but two of the plugs are blue and one is grey.Auto trans is from a 98 taco.

 

Finished the swap. I tried to take it for a spin but could not get it to go in gear. I used all 3.0 parts. It would go in gear with a little force but no chance in reverse. Any advise would be great. I replaced clutch,pressure plate ,throw out bearing,and had flywheel resurfaced.

sounds like something is on backwards for your trans. Definately not a motor issue.

 

without the truck running it will go threw the gears ok but running have to force.Only thing i Think could be backwards is the clutch disk.

 

Houston, your clutch disk is in backwards! Trust me on this, but DON'T ask how I know this 100%
