Why would the stock ecu/ecm from the 4runner engine not be able to be spliced to your old 3.0 stuff?? I really dont want to pay to have my wiring done. Is it still doable and you didnt have the time?

 

you could splice it. but it would take alot of time and im not all that patient..ha
i got my wireharness and stuff in earlier this week! so i should have the motor in by sunday!!!

 

Finally got it in!!!
it went in very smoothly it only took about 30 mins! ill take pics in the morning

 

update. ive been trying to get the interior and the trans in this last week and the trans wont go in so i tried to rotate the motor and it wont turn over. it did turn over when i had it on the engine stand but for some reason it wont turn over now. does anyone know someone in the orange county area that does 3.4 swaps? i just want this thing done.

 

looks like somehow my motor locked up. between the motor being on the engine stand and being dropped into the truck. it rotated fine before but it wont at all anymore. i have removed all the spark plugs and tried to use a crow bar on the flywheel and nothing.
