4WD light

I know this isn't a huge deal but I would like the dash light to come on when its in 4wd. Its pretty obvious it is but I would like most everything that worked before to still work. Does anyone know how to hook this up?

You will need the switch in the diff, do you have that?

I tried getting my 4wd to even engage with the A.D.D. and it never worked right. I had my old IFS frontend from my truck when I SAS'd it, when I put gears in I used that frontend, so now I have hubs, and no A.D.D. Much cleaner, and I don't have to worry about getting a cut vacuum line, or cut wire to keep me over night somewhere because I lost my 4wd.

Shouldnt be that hard. One side of your bulb has power from ignition, the other gets ground from the transfer case switch. Check for power at the bulb by pressing your meter lead against the trace leading to the bulb on the back of the instrument cluster, see if it ground when you shift to 4x4. If so you have a bad bulb, if not start tracing that wire back to find where it not getting a connection.
