3.4 ultimate build

Alright so I have searched and can't find a good answer.

I am debating building a 5vz or a 1uz, I want to know what the ultimate 3.4 would be? Like superchaged, what pully size, 7th kit? School me on what would be a good build.
Also I want an auto a340f? I forget what the better auto is. And the reason I want to go auto is I'm lazy and I think auto is better. I had a line on a 1uz but it fell through, so back to the 3.4 idea..

well... there is not replacement for displacement. Having said that... a supercharged 3.4 is nice... but a supercharged 1uz.... heaven. It all depends on your skill as well. How much time you have
how much money you have and if you have the tools.

I totally agree with the displacement, nothing like the v8 grunt.
My fab skills are novice at best I have the itch to learn and people to teach me, but I know either motor will be work.
I guess to me either way will just be money, I'll be rebuilding wireharness, motormounts, and all the odds and ends with a motor swap. But would I put more hp/tq down with a mildly built 3.4 or even a fully built 3.4 compared to a built 1uz? And it would be going in my runner so weight would be a small concern. Also I say motor mounts because I want to raise the motor to have better clearance of my 3link. To me a 3.4 would probably be easier and lest cost effective then the v8, but then again when I keep running everything in my mind it always says both will be equal work just depends on how much money I wanna throw down for the motor.

Well in this case I highly recomend that you read through all the write ups in the moter swap section here. I know that RMA has done a couple of the 1uz and has great write ups on his work. There is also a whole section that is just for the 3.4 swap.

I have read slot of build threads rma is awesome at his work, do you or anyone know how much hp/tq a supercharged 3.4 with headers and stuff pushes compared to a stock 4.0 with only headers pushes? And maybe a weight comparison?
Also any info on the auto tranny? What is prefered I have read that if I went 1uz using the auto there are $$$$ adapters to fit dual cases or I can get a a340f? And swap the internals out with some fabbing and get it to work. Or I can just get the 3.4 with that auto and be happy.. Idk

3.4 with a 5spd is killer. I can't speak on the 1uz... but I'd imagine its a better bet for the auto.
