3.4 swap, same trans issues?
In the old 1993 3.0 the auto trans wouldnt shift into o.d. until the truck was warmed up. When you guys do the swap for a newer 3.4 w ecu does that stop the overdrive issue?

What issue??
They were made to do that.
It is more than a little important that the engine comes to temperature and goes into closed loop control as soon as possible.
Cold lock-out of OD helps in this endevour.
I'm pretty sure the 3rd gens do the same.
