3.4 Swap Heater Hose Flow Question

Quick question before I once again hack up my heater hoses. I think I reversed them as the heater control valve is dumping fluid when the heat is shut off. This is a 1992 v6 Xtra cab body with a 04 Tundra 3.4.

The Question: Should the driverside heater coolant port on the engine connect to the driverside heater port on the firewall? On the block is the driverside port the outlet or inlet for coolant?

Right now pic #1 green hooks up to pic #2 green. Thanks for any advice.

This picture has helped me a ton, but I do have one question below:

What is the part number of the hose on the left side - the one not going into the heater valve?
