For me to have a CEL, I'd actually have to have the light wired

Never got around to that part of the swap.

Been running fine for almost 3 years (August 20th-ish 2007) with over 114 500 kms (71,500 miles) on it, and no problems.

put the new timing belt, water pump, thermostat on last night. tonight going to work on finishing the wiring and welding up the rad support and front frame sections (cracks and separation from over time of driving mainly dirt roads).

doing the oil pan/ pickup/dipstick/rear main/oil pressure gauge sender now.
for the alt lower bracket i used the factory 3.0 one. then for my oil pressure sending unit i used a 90 deg brass elbow then screwed it on so that it would not interfere with the alt bracket.
wiring is mostly done with exception for the small stuff, road lights, e-fan, dash switches, etc...
hopefully it starts up and runs good. down to 6 nights to finish before we need the truck for bear season (with hounds) here.

check your throttle cable and make sure its not too tight. I had to bend the braket a bit to get the cable loose.

Lion hunt?? In Arizona? Or is a "Lion hunt" something other than what I am thinking it is? What does your oil pressure gauge read after it has warmed up??

P.S. She is looking great!!!

sorry been awhile. using the 94 gauges and 3.0 sending unit on the 3.4 block the gauge warmed up idling reads between the low and first slack mark.

new bumper. not bad for the first time building a tube bumper and using a bender.
