3.4 swap to 94 pickup

Hi guys, I am brand new here. I have a 5vz engine with auto trans from a 96 4runner going into a 94 ext cab originally with a 3.0 5 speed.

I have done some searching and I know what I need for the basics of the swap. My question is how can I use the auto trans and transfer case from my 4runner to my truck? The t cases are clocked differently, and the diffs are in differnt locations. Can it be done easliy? I am new to these swap but not swaps in general.

Does anyone have the same setup? Any input would be appreciated! thanks

forget the auto transmission and transfer case from the 4runner and retain your current 3.0 set up... the transmission and case bolt up to the 5vz-fe

splice your wiring harness a little to make the auto 5vz to work with your 5 speed... it has been done, there are write ups

what if I want an auto? I hate shifting gears in traffic, which is where I drive the most. Is it more work than it's worth? would I have to get a 3.0 auto trans? If so, I have a complete 3.4 swap with auto tranny and t case for sale!

As far as using the 3.4 tranny or the 3.4, i have seen both done and work.
