Talking 3.4 swap

Question , I am 3.4 swapping my 92 yota 3vze. I have my 3.0 flywheel and clutch on the 3400 can I use the 3400 starter or do I have to use the 3.0 starter with the 3.0 flywheel??????

Or you can run all 3.0 stuff (flywheel, clutch, starter, throw-out bearing) Pilot bearing I think is the exact same. Be aware though that the 3.4 clutch disk and pressure plate have a bigger surface area therefore better hold. You can use an aftermarket "performance" clutch to make up for it.

If using the 3.4 starter, you will need to drill out the threads on one of the bolt holes on the starter as it bolts on with both bolts from the transmission side. The 3.0 starter matches the transmission.
