I wanna swap my 3.4 out for a new 3.4 because im gknna have to rebuild it and I would rather just put a new motor in where can I buy a new motor? I want a brand new one with 0 miles on it but idk where to look

 

But now I'm thinking is it a better idea to just rebuild? I only have one ring in one cylinder wearing out. How much money and labor would a rebuild take? And would I lose any power compaired to just buying a new motor?

 

Probably cheaper to rebuild than buy a new motor. Why do you want to rebuild it? Low compression, smoking? Call around for prices on a rebuild

 

Yeah I have low compression in two cylinders makes me think the rings are wearing and im starting to he's a knocking not completely sure its the engine though. Would any shop do a rebuild? And be able to get the parts

 

A shop that does engine rebuilds would be good. One that deals with toyota engines would be better.
