3.4 harness Fed vs CA
Hi folks.
I have a dumb question.
I own a 95 4unner, A few years ago I bought a 99 4runner with manual. I eventually got to the point when the 'covid' episodes startted, and following layoff, that I was finally able to tackle the wiring harness to place the 3.4 into the 95.
I can't really find my stupit paperwork readily.
Anyway, this last week I was able to put the transmission back in, and just today in fact I thought I should probably see how badly my harness will or won't fit.
To my surprise and realized I had two O2 sensor connectors. Checked the wrecked 99 (still has tailpipe attached) and sho nuff it has a bung on the pipe (post CAT).
I started to get concerned. Alzheimers? Prolly. But I for sure had taken this loom apart 'cuz I had to weave in a speedo sensor. I'm guessing and hoping since I don't recall really having to deal with this part, when I did all my wire reconfigs that it was a non-issue.
"R" question is "All the 3.4's had two O2 sensor connectors, correct?" What separates a Federal vs a California is just the presense of a second cat converter on CA models?
The motor is from a 99 4runner that had a manual tranny also. And UT or Nevada plates, don't recall exactly.
Thanks in advance.
