3.4 cold start problem

okay, so i'm doing the 3.4 swap in my 92 auto 4-runner, and i'm to the point of starting it, but i have to crank it over about 10 separate (turn the key) times before it will finally stay idling, any suggestions on what it could be? i have the right fuel pressure as well.

Vacume leak

Sounds like a vacuum leak possibly? Does it surge and idle rough as well?

hmmm... is that the fuel pump for a 3.4? sounds like it's a little sluggish to get up to the right fuel pressure to fire up. is it a brand new pump?

+1 for vacuum leak. My only other thought: Is it full on coolant? A poor temp reading would not apply the right amount of fuel.
