Griot's has stuff in their catalog but I'm wondering how credible it is...

I am in the same boat as you are and have noticed some rust on my rig that needs some attention. The question was.. Fix rust or replace fenders. I decided fix rust for now cause the fenders are fine other then a couple spots of rust. I am looking at the link above and am thinking of ordering something soon myself but Crash also had me look here in case you are intrested here is the link. Por 15

Like Crash said, Por15 is about the best stuff out right now. There was a predecessor to por 15 but it has since been outlawed because of it's adverse affects to the environment.
I just por15'd my whole frame and the stuff is great! The pre-painting prep is minimal too!

What's up guys?

Just ordered a gallon of this new product called Rust Bullet. It claims to have the one up on por-15. It seems scientifically credible but I will definitly post an update. I plan on doing the frame of my 4Runner with it plus a few fender spots.

....

The POR 15 is really great stuff, if your onto something better let us all know! Good luck. ps- don't get this stuff on your hands...I found out the hard way that it takes weeks for it to wear off naturally. I ended up taking fine-grit sandpaper to rub of the por15 from my arms (I accidentally rested my arm on the wet frame

Where's your sense of adventure fellas? Grabe the sandpaper and body fill and work on those surface rust spot on the body. Make sure you use a rust converter for the spots where you just can't get at.
