Rear suspension lean.....

Rear suspension lean.....
Well she's leanin' quite a bit on the drivers side in the rear ever since I went wheelin' the other day. Could my rear shock have bitten the dust? Thats the only thing that I can think of that is making it lean. Any ideas?

The shock doesn't really hold much weight, only dampens the axels movement (unless something has changed). I've made more than one trip arounf the block with NO rear shocks (not reccomended) while trying to find a grating noise in the rear suspension.
You probably stressed a spring/coil to the point of fatigue, or bent a mount somewhere (I don't know how hard you were wheeling). In general the rear drive wheel side will sag more over time as that side is always under a little load (or cycling of load) just from the driveshaft turning the axle/wheel.

2nd gens lean to the passenger side - thats where the gas tank, transfer, and front driveshaft are. Mine was lower in the back and front. After my spring install it leveled the rear and I had to crank the torsion more on the right side

I'll probalby see about ordering a new coil and possibly a new shock for the rear drivers side. Hopefully that'll fix the problem. It leans pretty bad.
