Question about direct ignition and spark plugs

Okay I am not the smartest person on the world, but if say you have a bad spark plug or say an incorrect spark plug gap. On a distrubtor vehicle, you can feel a problem due to rough idle. But what about a direct ignition or distrubtless ignition, will the individual coils compensate so that you don't feel it or will it be noticable?

what compensates for it is the ecm or "brain". taking readings from various sensors, but, depending on the severity of the plug problem, you might feel a rough idle, heitation, mpg loss. the ecm will do a good job of trying to mask or bandaid the problem, but it can only do so much. id say if you think you have a problem with a plug, compare it with the other plugs. see if there is a color diference, or if you dont feel like trusting your eye, just replace them.

Well the thing is, I did replace the plugs, the problem is my gapper doesnot go down to .031" so I assumed that the plugs were properly pre-gapped from the factory. I know assuming is bad so everytime i pulled a plug, I matched with the new one and all were exactly alike. Here's the thing though, I feel a lose of power from the Tundra (I can't tell either from it was before or after the fact, I wish I would keep better track of this), but suprisingly my gas gauge isn't falling as fast as it used to and it isn't really idiling rough, but very slight if noticeable hesitation.

My quess then is my TB maybe dirty again, Tundra's really have a problem with the TB getting dirty real quick, I'll try cleaning it again and seeing if that solves anything.
