Whenever I first start up my truck, at a stop light, or if the truck is just in neutral the truck starts shaking like its about to stall out. This doesnt happen all of the time. The truck will start and run great for a week and then for a couple of days it will idle hard and not run as well.


Any ideas what could be the cuase of these problems?

 

Give us a little more info and background like, year/motor/trans type etc.. and is this an all of a sudden thing or has it done it for a while. Done any maintenance lately?

My truck was idling rough for a while until I threw the AC belt (tensioner bearing was bad) no with out the belt and the motor trying to turn it around a bad bearing, it idles fine.

 

Its a 94 Pickup. Its been doing this for maybe a month, on and off. No, I havent done any maintitnance too it recently. 4cyl, manual transmission. As far as background of the vechicle, Im too too sure. I got it with 96k miles in November.
