OME Spring Install Q's

Attn: SMR4Runner & anyone else

I am gearing up for the install on my rig. It seems that there is a lot of confusion as to DS/PS. I read on threat that said since OME are Aussie, the driverside is on the right. That means that the DS/PS is opposite of what we in the States think. I know some of you out there have gone through this already. I'm wondering what you found to be true.

I have purchased the HD springs to run with my HD Bilstiens.

Any words of wisdom? I would absolutely HATE to complete the install only to find out that the front (which is by far the most difficult) needs to be redone!!!

Oh, I forgot to ask.

Does this configuration make the 4Runner look "jacked up" in the rear? I ask because I know of a lot of people say I should use the Daystar 1" spacer up front to level things out. If I need to do this, I need to order today before my wife freaks!

Thoughts?

just got off the phone with the ARB techline. They told me to mount the springs AS LABELED. DS on DS, PS on PS. I asked about the left-hand driver vs. right-hand driver and he made it clear that it was dependent upon the side that the driver sits on.

Now, to confuse things, at the end of the conversation he said that there are cases in which the springs are properly installed, but the rig sits off on one side. He said this happens and then they recommend swapping "one set" of the springs, front or rear, depending upon which one is leaning the most.

I hope this helps clarify.

I have also order the 1" Daystars.

PS - I love having a thread with myself....

Thanks! I spent a few hours the other day trying to get onto his lift page but the server kept timing out! Now I'm in!
