What is the correct oil capacity for the 3.4 with the oversize oil filter (amsoil sdf34)?
Is it a full 6 quarts with this filter?

Yes. With a new larger filter, it will take exactly six quarts to fill it up instead of the odd fraction, 5+2/3 quarts or whatever it is.

I was just looking around on the net for some oversized filters for the 3.4 and this is what I found. I use Purolater PureOnes.

One guy states:
The model the book calls for is the PL10241, which is pretty shrimpy. I instead use the PL24457 (on the left in the picture above), which fits just perfect.

And there is one other site that mentions another size in the Google description, but I can't open the page.

Purolator Info- PL20195/L20195 = oversized PL10241/L10241 = stock.

The page will just read "Opening Page". If anyone can open the page, can you confirm if that is actually what they are stating and not google just taking bits of text from the page and posting a description with it. And also, is it safe to say that the PL10241 = PL20195 = PL24457? Or will I have to go play with them at the store when I get a chance?
