I need to know if I am over oiling my dip stick.

I was told to put one oz. on a rag, then drag the dip stick through it to lube it.

I think I can get by with less

I think that any less might cause chafing.

I always have my dipstick oiled by a professional, why risk it?

Now, isn’t that the truth. An amateur oiling a dipstick is like watching a three legged horse race.
Heck, I betcha there is an ISO9004 dipstick oil professional licensing board.

I get all of my dipstick oiling done “in-house” cause I just don’t trust strangers doing it.

I wouldn't trust some 18 year old highschool dropout lubing my dipstick! I'll do it myself, thank you!!

dingle shaft

hate it about your muffler bearings. the other day i went to put on my new dingle shaft and they gave me the wrong length bolt so i had to run to the local hardware store to buy a bolt strecher while i was there i also found a double funnel, jackpot

Not one of you mentioned the fact that you must re-pack the Muffler Bearing whenever you do your Front wheel bearings. And use good High temp grease or the bearing will seize up on you and your Yota will go WOO WOO when you start it up - And wake the neighbors up early in da mownin - And they'll have to start fixin brefast or sumtin like dat.

I just add a quart of oil to my gas tank at every fill up. It seeems to be keeping my muffler bearings quiet.
