I don't understand....rocks up and down as in the suspension or....when you mounted the tire did you not get it back on the lugs all the way? I'm confused as to what's happening....

when i have the hubs locked and not in 4x4 its screwed....something isnt aligning...

it would be like if there were a large bump on one location of a circle and as that part contacted the ground there was a bouncing over the lump....its sounds terrible!!!

If i unlock the hubs...no problems at low speeds, but there is still a small vibration again...

frustration is making me want to just take it to a mechanic....plus working outside tonight the temperature was dam as cold....

i guess im just trying to vent

you've check everything else and know it's your hubs...right? That's cool....just take it apart and start over. I know it sucks.....do you have any pics of your assembly?

yes, 100% IFS hubs... it seriously seems like the driver side hub is 100% installed properly... its the Passenger side that is making terrible noise, and doing crazy things in 4x4.

You've got to be kidding me. Did you really pay for that? Can you explain any better what they said? CVs = front, Axle = back. Even if you need new CV shafts, it won't cost $800. I've heard Sears will put in a reman for $200.

Did you do the install? Maybe you really messed something up. I've had my Aisins off a couple times and never had any problems. It shouldn't be that hard to find the problem once you tear it apart.

do it your self

There is no way the CV can leak into the hub! CV's cost $69.89 EA at just about any auto parts store. it takes about twenty minutes to change them.
