Maintenance on an inactive 4 Runner

I won't be around to drive my Runner for a month. It's a 94, 3.0. Should I get the wife to drive it around every once in a while to keep the 'seals wet' or is that a bit overkill? What do you guys (and gals) do when your truck stays idle for long periods of time? - particularly older trucks.

A month isn't really that bad. Thing you have to worry about the most is the gas going sour with the crappy fuel we have today. If it really bothers you, just have her drive it once a week or so. One of my rigs once sat idle for a year before I started it again. Didn't have any problems (though I didn't really care, because it had a blown headgasket, and we were putting in a new motor). But everything worked fine. So, it won't hurt it to sit for a month, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have her at least start it up a few times........

I've never had a problem with a car left not running for a month, I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe just disconnect the battery so it doesn't run down.
