Question Limited Slip or Not on 2000 4runner SR5

I just got a 2000 4Runner
SR5 with Sports package, I wanted to replace fluids, but I need to find out if my diff is limited slip. I wanted to change to synthetic but I remember from my Isuzu days that limited rear slip diff requires slip additive. Any ideas how I can determine that?

Thanks.

No, toyota trucks in the US don't have limited slips from the factory. Up until 2001 some came with a rear locker, but they don't need any additive either.

Thanks for the quick reply. My truck is actually made in Japan, but if I read your message correctly all trucks incl Japan-made are without limited slip diffs.
Thanks much, will stock up on oil.

Yeah, all 4runners in the US are built in Japan (not including ones that individuals import). You read my reply correctly .
