alright, i need some serious help here guys.
when my truck idles it misses some and lopes a bit, then will speed up then slow back down till it almost dies, then speeds up a bit. runs rough, then smoothes out some, but runs pretty rough at idle for the most part. also going down the road i can feel it missing at certain speeds. right now i am running bosch platinum plugs which i have run in the past with no problems. could it be the plugs or could it be emissions related equipment? i have a carburated 82 by the way. the carb has been rebuilt also. im thinking it is carb related but i cant single anything out. any thoughts?

 

Just a quick guess. It may be a vacuum leak? Or maybee the carb is gunked up and in need of a rebuild. Could be bad fuel too. Just some suggestions

 

today i got aggrevated with it and i pulled out all the vacuum related items and it runs alot better. i dont know why i didnt do that a long time ago.
