Cylinder head removal question...
Hey guys,
Funny thing, I went to remove my cylinder head today, got every thing off and ready to go, slid it up the posts, and it hits the body before it can clear the posts its on. Soo.....any ideas? The only thing I can think of is loosening up the engine mounts and trying to slide the engine forward about 1/2". Would this be bright, or will it even move without disconnection the tranny? I thought the heads lifted right off on the 22re's, guess maybe they are positioned a little different on the LC Enginnering Pro EFI. Anyway, I'm stumped, and I have to drive home Friday morning, soooo, any help is appreciated. (Corey should have gotten the 22re instead of the v6, I know he'd have a write up on this if he'd delt with it, bummer!) Thanks again! -PhattieD
