Question 22re problems........ Help!

Yesterday I shut down my 4runner to go grab some cash from the money machine and when I jumped back in it started up then as I was reversing it seemed to have less power. I stoped the truck and could feel it idling low (300 rpm). I poped the hood and started to pull the plug wires off, #2 cylinder wire made no difference but had spark so I am thinking either fuel or compression. I pulled the valve cover and everything seems good from the top side but I have no compression tester to see if the cylinder is sealing. My next step is to see if the injector has power (maby the wireing harness got some water in it when I hit a puddle?)

Any other ideas would be great to hear!
Thanks all.

It's probably the wiring/connectors as you mentioned or a bad injector.

found the problem and it purrs like a kittin now. it was the wire harness for the injectors. once I got it all taped back up the other two injectors were not working. so I had to do it twice! but found out that most of the problems occure about 3 inches fron the throttle body not to mention that the number 1 and 3 ánd the number 3 and 4 are pairs wire together so if both injectors are dead you probably don't need to pull the intake if it is only one injector then the intake is comming off...
