need a donor?
hey im new here,
I have a 93 pickup 3.0 4x4 auto, iv been looking for a donor mosly for the tranny and engine parts..
cant seem to ever find any for sale that aren't fully built up but theres plenty 4runners for sale, are the parts im looking for interchangeable pickup/4runner

Short answer...yes...
If the 4-runner has the 3.0, then both the 3.0 and trans are compatible. Although you should look for a matching transmission (i.e. find one with a standard if yours is a standard) to make things easier (unless of course you want to change from auto to standard, then this would be the time to do so).
I recommend looking for a 92-95 3.0 (4runner or p/up) with matching transmission, that would be easiest...although...
Many on here, which I am sure you will soon find out, do not recommend putting that same engine back in. You will get much more bang for your buck if you go with a 3.4...but now you are talking engine conversion...depends on how much bucks you got...

thanks for the quick reply, the engine would be mostly for parst down the road my engine still running strong. its the tranny that's tired and reveres is pretty much useless unless on flat hard ground
