bored out 3.0

what do you guys think about boring a 3.0 out to be a 4.0 and putting it back in vs. a 350 swap?

Ummm...you'd have to bore the cylinders out from 87.5 mm to ~101-102 mm.

I really doubt you have enough metal there to bore that much out. Assuming you didn't cut into the water jackets, you'd warp the cylinders in no time.

What's wrong with just swapping a 3.4 like all the nice, normal, sane people?

Not to mention you'd have to have custom pistons and rings made. Even if it were possible too expensive!
