Okay all, I can't seem to find the right stuff for my 96 T100 4x4 5spd swap at all.

I have a 96 T100 4x4 5spd truck without an engine, engine wiring harness, and ECU. I am trying to bring this truck back to life and use it as my daily driver.

I have recently purchased a 01 4runner automatic 3.4L 5VZ motor with no ECU or engine wiring harness. I like to put this engine into the 96 T100 truck and need to find the correct ECU & engine harness for it. Do I need to find a 5spd 3.4L throttle body to make it work with my 96 T100 4x4 5spd or will the automatic from the 01 4runner 5VZ work?

I have found a 2000 Tacoma ECU & engine harness and a 1998 T100 ECU & engine harness, but am not sure which one will work for my 96 T100 truck. I am afraid that the new model ECU will not work with my 96 because they have more than 4 plugs on the 96 T100 ECU. I am also concern that the newer model ECU will not be compatible with my 96 T100 dash wiring harness.

Can someone on here help and direct me to the right ECU and engine harness?
