Check out NWoffroad. They sell a lot of the parts you would need such as bellhousing and headers.

RJM has a plug-n-play wiring harness that would make wiring it up very easy (www.fordfuelinjection.com). I used their harness on a 5.0 I put in my trail rig.

I'm just about done with my 5.0 swap. With a 4" suspension lift, 3" body lift, bellhousing adapter and motor mounts it fit pretty good. I think if you went with the 3.4 you could get away without the lift, but if you already have the 5.0 I'd go for it..

its a bad ass setup if you can get everything to line up properly, the 5.0L i have is in there, its just the transmission that the previous owner messed up on... but it is possible with fabrication being involved...

I did because it was recently rebuilt, about 5k ago. when it goes i'll sell the bellhousing and get a bronco 5 spd and a t case adapter...when it goes... it seems to be doing pretty good right now. -- w56

I did this 5.0 swap in a 86 Toyota xtra cab and it was fun if you want to stay on road. I still had it IFS and when I got into any gravel it was like a boat anchor. I had to have it in 4x4 to go anywhere. It fit okay, but you have to use an electric fan to clear and you will need a custom radiator or spend a lot to get one that will keep the thing cool. Also just a side note, the w56 tranny can only handle about 200HP before you will run into problems. If you want more info just ask. I will be glad to help if you need.

Injected 5.0 with serpentine belt clears the rad ok in mine, just used a different fan & hub from a Range Rover V8 (with more blades and just bolts on) to bring fan further back.

since you have most of the parts for the 5.0 swap go for that just beef up your rear axle is what i read but there are alot of sites and dont us northwest offroad for adapters used advanced they are better quality and make your own motor mounts it will save you money
