4.3 question

change of plans was going with a 3.4 but just got a 4.3 from friend runs good and strong but its carburated not to sure yet what kind of carb. my question is will it be alright to run the carb and the other question is he gave me the bellhouseing to run the toyota trans and transfercase will i have to move the trans crossmember he never ran the bellhouseing so hes not to sure

First I hope you do not live in Cali, and are not trying to smog it. Second, I positioned my 4.3 to where the crossmember bolts into the same position. Its all dependent on where you put the motor in the engine bay. I would bolt it all together and position it where you want, or make very careful measurments, before putting your motor mounts in. I would say don't buy Downey motor mounts but Downey no longer exists.
