Hey guys, I've got an 88 toyota pickup with a 88 tbi 4.3 in it. I was wondering if I can use the stock fuel pump or not. The truck had the 3.0 in it and from what I have read the 3.0 runs on way more pressure than the 4.3. However, the 4.3 is internally regulated I believe. I've looked in a bunch of threads about 4.3 swaps and usually people say they put in the chevy fuel pump, but I've seen a few mention nothing about it. I just want to make sure I have to swap pumps before dropping the gas tank. (I'd just hook it up and try it but I'm afraid I'll damage something on the TBI. Should I just go for it? lol) Thanks in advance for any help!
