Question 22RE Runs (Codes 3 & 7)

If some of you have been following my other thread i just rebuilt this 22R and done the EFI Swap all in one since i also put a EFI cab on my frame. Well as of this evening we finally got it cranked and running. Not real sure how, lol, we switched computers, but we had done this befoe also. Anyways its running but as soon as it cranked it went straight to 2000 Rpm's and fluctuats between 2000 and 2500. Cut it off and cranked it back several times and same thing. Pressing Gas pedel seems unresponsive some, cuts in and out. All the sensors checked out ok by the book. Anybody got and ideas on how to bring the idle back down to normal?

By sensors, did the TPS and AFM check out? How about the wires at the computer from all the sensors?

If all the sensors read out "good," then I would make sure the ECU is getting the right info. The fsm should be able to help to read out at the ECU. Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks and that all that stuff is connected.

Does your throttle return spring looks like the first pic or the second?
I just replaced my TPS to get rid of a Code 7

Changed the TPS and got it down to 8-900RPMs and the gas pedal does respond. Drove it around the yard a little bit yesterday. One thing i noticed yesterday got me alittle curious. It has a kinda rough idle, not to awful bad. But if you cut the fuel pump off before you cut the truck off and let it run for a minute till the fuel runs out the line, as soon as you cut the pump off it smooths up nice and pretty. Thing that could be the pressure regulator or somthing?
