Not very sure about this but hell why not
My 22r blew up an i have a 20r sitting here that runs will it bolt up to the 22r transmission an work cause the 22rto is five speed an 20r is four speed will it still run good? An if so what will i have to change

 

If I'm correct from all the information I've collect the 22r and 20r engine blocks are identical. The only difference I believe is only in the top end. However I do know that the 20r will bolt to your tranny. Only thing that I believe you may or may not have to change would be sensors and that's only if the plugins are different.
