Trail Gear SAS Problem

Just installing my trail gear sas, its on a 85 2 wheel drive frame that I pick up that's pretty much rust free. My 87 diesel 4x4 truck frame is total shot.
So I got the rear kit and front spring hanger pretty much dead on with in less than 1/16 right and left side.
Drill and put in the shakle tubes, here is where something is up. The both measure correct to all the hangers, but are angled back on the inside of the frame. Is this the way they suppose to be? Too me I think they should be dead inline of each other, I should be able to run a straight piece of shaft steel right threw them.

I'd call trail gear tomorrow, but will be out of phone service all day.
