yeah, gotta clear the 3.4 intake. I didn't want to body lift it, or put a hood scoop on it.

I assume your talking about the front shock mounts? They are, off the shelf trail gear shock hoops.

a 3rd gen taco or 4runner scoop grafted in would look pretty sharp but nothing else

Looks great man! Im actually planning on doing the same swap onmy truck. Funny things is I have the exact same truck even down to the color, so seeing yours has given me the itch cuz I know exactly how it should look! Thanks for the updates. Ill be sure to get in touch with you when I get to mine and have some questions.

Ok, so I have been slacking on updates, and more importantly pics. The front end is basically "built" now. Longfields, marlin 25mm knuckle bearing kit/ high steer arms, tg knuckle ball gussets, tg full face diff guard, flushed in front drain plug. The truck has a warm m8000, and a bumperr I built using a tg winch plate and some 1.75 tube. I also have all the parts to do duals, and a 4.7 gear set, picked up a front range x member too. pics soon....I almost forgot, I'm now running the tg 4" hd springs. The regulars were bottoming out on the bump stops as I would just drive down the road. It is a little bit higher, as the new pics will show, but doesn't bottom out anymore, the front end is pretty hefty with a 3.4, and a winch on the front too.

Good looking build! Looks almost EXACTLY the same as the SAS I just did to my p/u. Same kit, same tires, same gears, same lockers (mine's got a detroit front and yukon rear) hell, even the same black front passenger fender! I'd post a link to the thread... but I'm lazy. If only I had that 3.4... My 3.slow isn't long for the world at this point.

Great job. As much help as the plasma cutter was, looking back I'd have killed for a torch when doing the frame tubes!

lol, man I love this 3.4, it just costs way more when doing dual cases, but this thing runs like a champ.

I def. think that plasma and the torch each have their own strenghts.

Another thing I forgot, I put in the tg, magnum arp's, and the front range hub studs.

Those 35's look tiny on your truck. you need 37's I have to go bigger on my Runner when I go to tons.

I think it looks good either way. I think the 3" kit is a little better for 35s though. gorgeous truck!
