shackle question

i have a 1986 toyota 4runner that i am planning on sas soon. I have gotten together most of the things to do a sas and have read lots of builds, but the only thing i have been wondering about is does the shackle mount for the front axle have to be put into the frame or can you mount it below the frame with a mount like on the back. The only reason i am asking is because i do not have anything to cut into the frame with. thanks in advance

I bought a fairly cheap hole saw from homedepot and a used a cordless drill and that set up cut through the frame fairly easy

mounting the shackle hanger under the frame will give you a nasty pinion angle if you don't lower the front hanger as well

Beg borrow or steal a good plasma cutter. I like the hole/saw too. DO NOT MOUNT THE FRONT SHACKLE LIKE THE REAR.

Figure out a way to cut the hole. You can put a mount under it, but it throws off the pinion angle and steering, unless you have a long front drop hanger.

If you can't figure out how to cut four holes in your frame, how do you plan on cutting off all the other crap to put it all together?

...just sayin....
