I love the comfort of my '09 Tacoma. Other then it's sporty road manners, I dislike the IFS : ground clearance, off camber trails, and the 1" thick post holds the upper A-arm in place. Hit a pot hole or rock a little too fast=Snap!
Anything more than gravel roads, pot holes, and a bit of snow, I find myself avoiding those "let's see what's over that crest" or "let's camp up over there closer to the river". I miss that, but I'm getting too old for my full mod rock crawler FJ-40.
SAS, SECOND GEN TACOMA - COSTS ALOT, NOT A DEAL BREAKER. CONSIDERATIONS, OPTIONS-custom Axel ? (danaTrac). Any suggestions, typical problems (electrical?) advise- very much appreciated?
