SASing a RHD, any major differences compared to the LHD?

Been thinking about SASing my Hilux, however i live in Canada where RHD's aren't too common. Almost all of the information and parts i can get are based around a LHD 4runner. I'm curious if anybody knows what is different for the Surfs, and if i'll run into any complications.

As far as i'm aware, the only difference is the steering, i'll have to get RHD steering knuckles, but i can use the same linkage. Is there anything else i should be aware about?

Knuckles should be the same. High steer arms are different.

Depends on the steering setup, I suppose as well. I'm assuming you'd convert to high-steer (does anybody retrofit the factory SFA steering system? Yuck). But, at the very least, Trail-gear seams to offer their kit for RHD trucks

As far as i know with the knowledge i have, high steer kits require the IFS steering box, so i wouldn't be converting anything i would just be getting the high steer knuckles and rods and would keep my IFS box. I've never heard of someone SASing and using the factory steering setup. Thanks for that TG link.

I meant "converting" in the sense that you're converting the axle and knuckles to high steer. Which is better, and uses the IFS box (usually relocated further forward, but depending on your exact setup isn't always necessary).

So yea..you should just need a RHD high-steer kit, and you'd be good to go.
