Question Rear locking diff in 92 4runner

I'm looking to get a rear locking diff in my 92 4runner with 4:88 gears. Since there is no factory toyota axle with both 4:88 gears and a locking diff a simple axle swap is out of the question. My local yard suggested I buy a full rear end for 800$ and re-gear it but that is out of my abilities. I can get a yukon rear locker off summit for 600$ but then would need to pay to have it installed. Are there any other options for getting a rear diff in this thing? money is kinda tight and I'm not trying to go too far over 1000$. Also not trying to raise my gear ratio.
Every time I've been stuck off roading it was a traction issue, I think a rear diff would be the most effective upgrade for this thing right now.

Various vendors sell fully assembled diffs built to your specs with whatever ratio and locker you want. Lockers are not cheap. If you can't set up gears yourself this is your only option besides waiting for a good deal on a used diff with your exact specs.
