leakage! time for a rebuild

looks like i need a rebuild!

if u have done this job before let me know what kit u got and how much it cost, im leaning towards the marlin kit just because i havent heard anything bad about it, heard the trail gear bearings arent as good...? found a bunch of kits from $75-$165 with marlins being the most expensive, just wanna compare options here.

will i need any special tools and whats the usual install time of this? any and all info u got would help me out alot

thanks:happy

Front: Knuckle Serive Kit w/ wheel bearings (your axle seal is crap)

Rear: Rear axle seal kit (bearings and seals) You will probably need new rear drum pads as well cause they are now covered in gear oil.

And the stuff about TG bearings is internet hype and BS.

Special tools: Pull scale, 54mm socket, drum brake tools (will make life easier), metric sockets, snap ring pliers, gear oil, wheel bearing grease, etc.

Search online Toyota archives as these maintenance issues have been done a zillion times before. 4x4wire has write-ups for both I think.
