How long are your stock springs?

Chevys are 63"

So the answer is no.....

I have seen it done before but they are rock anchors

Yes, you typically want front springs with rather short front halves to preserve as much approach angle as possible. I run '85 rear springs on the front lf my '85 as they are only 20.5" long up front, moving the axle as far forward as possible and still keep the stock front hanger:

I will hijack a thread for my first post. Anybody ran or running ford 53" leafs in the front (03 F-250 diesel). There 24" front to center and 3" wide. Seems Like they would work pretty good, and there free.

youd have to move your front spring hanger a couple inches forward or take out half the cab for tire room
