i have a 60 axle but im going to go mini trucks in my suzuki cause i got front and rear with spings and shocks for 250 and my 60 axle needs a rebuild.. it does have some aisin hubs on it.. i might just part and sell the cruiser or save it for a rain day build...
it would be amazing in a ifs runner cause its the only like .5 bigger or smaller than a ifs rear...

check marlins site there is a guy who did a SAS on a 3rd gen 4runner and used the FJ60 axle. Works well for the tacoma/4runner. I am planning on the same except flip the HOUSING not the whole assembly and cut the knuckles to get the driver side drop I need. Just can't seem to find an axle in my area. You can also use IFS hubs and get another 3" of width to get around 60". FJ40 axles are 55", FJ55 are another width and FJ60 are wider yet at approx. 57-58? I am not 100% sure on these specs just what I can remember. Mini truck outers can be swapped to all except the FJ80 axles just use the inner axle and change out your Mini truck birfield and grind the ball to get the birf to fit.

Hey I noticed your comment on the warn hubs ...what's you thought here had you had problems with them ..? also will the axels drop into a 2nd gen mini truck ...I've been wondering about this as well.
