So the boot on my driver side TRE has ripped, so I need a new one. I would order one off line but I need it ASAP so I will be going to the dealership. I am wondering what year FJ TREs are used in the SAS kits. Also did those FJ's have power steering.

call whoever you bought the SAS kit from and order a new TRE. save the torn one as a spare.

 

all fj80's had power steering, the tie rod ends are 2 types....

from what i remember all years had the same ball joints for the fj80, gas or diesel, and yes im from australia ive fixed lots of them.
