drive shaft angle

I have the 5" lift from TG installed on my truck, my buddy and I followed all the instructions. for a drive shaft i got the 12" slip and was using the cv off an 83 driveshaft for the other end. We figured that the kit probably had it pretty well figured out for the angle from the back of the pumkin to the transfer case, but when we went to make our drive shaft it seemed to be pretty far off. anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like you are talking about the rear shaft. If so, you have changed from a u-joint to a CV shaft and you will need to change the pinion angle to match:

Mine works. TG 4" springs plus hanger= 5" lift. I used their 12" spline kit, a cv from an 85 shaft ,and added enough tube to give about 3" compression. My angle is a little steep but it clears without issue. Future dual cases will solve my angle though .
