Decision time!

I'm in the process of getting all the parts I need to do a SAS on my 93 truck. Recently a good friend of mine asked me if I wanted to buy his 85 strait axle 4 runner. I didnt even know he had this truck. He is the first owner. lets say the last 10yrs was mainly used on his property. Now the motor is blown and he doesnt want to deal with it. First decision. Should I buy it and make a sick crawler out of it instead of cutting up my 93 pick up?

Question 2.. He'll probaly say make me a offer. He is a good friend and he might just give it to me but I would like to offer him something. It's not in bad shape but not perfect..

I've only looked into a IFS swap. I'll research the 85. I was figuring i'll make a srait crawler out of the 85 a beater. Like maybe trailer it to the trails. And keep my 93 as is daily driver type.

Why not? I would never turn down a free or close to free complete vehicle.

Explain it to her the same way when you give her the purse that she wouldn't turn down a purse so why should you turn down a truck.

Your first problem is caring what your GF thinks in the first place where your Toyota is concerned.
