This probably been discussed and answered before but i couldn't find any links to the answer on the search option, so here we go. My upcoming project will be to sas convert my 93 2wd std cab yota, I will be running an 87 4x4 manual trans and transfer case. What tranny crossmember will i need to use to make this work after i cut out the existing one from the truck. Would one from a same gen std cab 4x4 be sufficient?

92 is also 22RE or V6? Trans from 87 probably W56 not R150F..maybe R154F if it's from a turbo. I don't know if 4banger trans will work well with the V6.
In any case, check out Budbuild cross member. I got one and it's great. I got the dual case even though I don't have dual case. It covers the t-case very well.

 

R154 is a supra transmission.
R151F is the desired Turbo 23 spline trans

thanks for the input and pics of your setup. i'll search online for that make of crossmembers. how much $ did yours set you back?
