another coil to leaf swap

So after a while of debating on weather to wait to put leafs in the rear of my 95 runner now or to wait until i sas it within the next couple of months. well i decided to just go fo it now so that it is all done when i get around to sasing it.** i am already done with it so if anybody needs some more pics or measurements i will gladly give them to you. i used the trail gear 5" kit and the front already has a 4" pro comp lift.

its done. the rear didnt end up being too much higher than the front and once the springs settle it should sit fairly level.

heres some pics of how i mounted the shocks. the lower mounts are the ones that came with the kit and the upper ones are made out of some rectangle tubing and square tubing and they are welded to the stock x memeber.

the shock angle seems to be working pretty good so far they are angled back and a tiny bit inward

heres a pic of the shackle angle which also turned out to be exactly where i wanted it. im not positive on these but im pretty sure the shackle hanger is 5 1/2in forward of the very back of the frame and the front hanger is 3 1/2in toward the rear from the square hole in the frame. if you need these measurements i will go and measure to make sure they are exact.

honestly i just really didnt like how the stock 4link is set up. i mean ya stock height the design works fine but once its lifted the stock 4 link just isnt the greatest design. plus this is my dd and i dont like the body roll that the coils give you. so thats why i did it plus i wanted to get a tiny bit more lift to match the sas when i do it.

Looks good... Just getting ready to do this swap myself... How is the shock angles helping with axle wrap?

my 4runner is now sas'd so i figured i would just make this a build thread(mods if you would change the title to rear leaf swap and buildup thread that would be great). but anyways here are some pictures of the sas

and i gott a little bored so i decided to tear it up in my back yard and take some poser shots

i also moved the rear shackle hangers back a couple of inches because before the shackle angle was so bad that i couldnt even have people sit in the back seat without it riding on the bumpstops
