Addicted Project

Current one I am working on. Started this morning. Had to run errands mid day, but still knocked out the rear end.

The plan:
3" IFS Eliminator kit
4" Rear Classic Lift
58" Sliders
Dual 2.28 cases
New clutch
Front winch bumper
Rear bumper/tire carrier
5.29s with an ARB Rear
35" BFG M/T KM2s
Full cage

Not too sure you will see them in a 15" wheel size. Everything is now running bigger wheels out of the factory. Tire makers are following suit.

They are dead sexy tires though.

No, but I plan on building something new soon. The plan is to buy two rust free 4runners out of CA and bring them back. I will build one for my DD/trail rig, and one to sell.

I don't deal with rust well at all. This rig is actually very clean despite the rear wheel wells. In fact, not a single bolt was seized under it and the frame is pretty much rust free.

Its those stupid chrome molding strips around the wheel wells that make these rust. Take those and the inner fender plastic out, and they last forever.

This is the current rig I am running :

MUCH better tires are available if you plan to run a beadlock. For a DD/weekend rig, I would consider the new BFG KM2. For a beadlocked, trail rig, I would run a better,(read: tougher) tire.

Krawlers, Iroks, TSLs, etc come to mind.

It'll still be a dd/weekend rig, hence the KM2's. Pretty much sold on the stauns. May go with the super expensive split rim Humvee ones, but those are way heavy.
